Lyn Kluewer

I’ve always lost myself in words – listening to stories, singing songs, playing with words, writing and reading books. Trees were always my favourite place in which to read, though now it’s more likely under a tree in a comfy chair!

My career choice was between Education and Librarianship. I have taught students of all ages, from preschool to Year 12, spent eight years as a TAFE teacher and have even guest lectured at University. I have found it very rewarding to assist both adults and children to develop their reading and writing skills.

While still teaching, I’m enjoying local and overseas travel with my partner, Peter and loving the time spent with the children and grandchildren too. I am attempting to squeeze my art and poetry around my busy lifestyle. Sometimes it’s difficult!
